Hand Forged Authentic Katana

This KATANA is hand forged and hand sharpened using Japanese methods to create the perfect blade. Fully functional and battle ready. This work of art is hand made in our forge and sent directly to you.

The blade is made of High Carbon Steel that has been hammered down and folded on top of itself 13 times for 8192 layers. This evens out the carbon content and creates a beautiful wave pattern on the blade. It has a long Hi (blood groove) on each side. This allows for a lighter blade and audible feedback when swung. It also balances the sword to achieve optimal performance. 

The blade is Full Tang which greatly increases the strength of the sword. It is strong enough to cut through a thick bamboo tree with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper. The sword has been hand polished and sharpened which creates a mirror surface.
