I purchased this sword to use as a practice sword, something that would give me the feel of the real deal when using it. I have no intention in using it for weed whacking in my back yard. I have no intention of getting into a sword fight with it either. The cloth case is very nice, with very high eye appeal. The workmanship looks very good as all the parts fit tight together. Overall this is a nice looking good quality sword that feels solid in my hand. Good value for money.

Received my katana yesterday! Shipping is very promt. Mine arrived before the stated date. I looked for 1 year before I bought this and it's the real deal. I'm a machinist so I know metal and this is well made, but remember this is high carbon steel and needs to be maintained or it will rust over time. It came very sharp but not razor, it will cut you! The polish is much better than the pics. This is better than expected and a great value.
